Website Redesign Packages That Protect Existing Rankings
Most redesigns lose traffic. These are scoped around migration safety first — URL mapping, redirect planning and pre-launch parity checks — so the new site keeps whatever the old one earned.
- Migration plan before design: Full URL inventory, 301 mapping and parity checks across titles, headings, schema and internal links.
- Architecture rebuild: New information architecture and templates informed by search demand and existing behaviour data.
- 90-day post-launch monitoring: Index coverage, rankings and Core Web Vitals tracked after go-live, with rollback triggers agreed in advance.
Not sure this is the right package?
This is one package within Web Development Packages. If the scope here does not match your situation, the sibling packages below usually do — and the full service page explains the work in detail before any pricing conversation. Our published research covers the measurement approach behind all of it.
Why redesigns are quoted after a crawl, never before
Most traffic lost in a redesign is lost on launch day, to redirect mapping nobody scoped. The visual work is rarely what determines the cost — the URL inventory, the content migration and the redirect logic are. We will not quote a redesign before crawling the existing site.
We publish fixed pricing for SEO because that scope is genuinely repeatable. This one is not, and quoting it from a table would mean either overcharging the simple version or under-delivering the complex one. So it is scoped on a call instead.
What actually drives the cost
- Total indexed URLs and how many carry rankings or links worth protecting
- Whether the URL structure changes, and how complex the redirect map becomes
- Content migration volume, and how much is rewritten rather than moved
- Platform change, if you are also moving CMS
- Pre-launch testing — staging crawls, redirect validation and a rollback plan
What we need before quoting
- Search Console and analytics access
- A current crawl or sitemap
- Your top fifty pages by traffic and conversion
- Any URLs that must not change
What happens on the call. Thirty minutes. We look at your data together and tell you what we would do first. If the honest answer is that this is not the right service for your situation, or that you do not need an agency at all, we will say so — see how we work for the kind of work we decline. Full detail on the service itself is on the Website Redesign Services page.
